At Pure & Well our tablets and capsules are made, tested and packed in the UK to ensure consistent high quality. Many cut price supplements on sale in the UK are manufactured in other countries and then shipped to the UK as bulk tablets and capsules. They are then packed into pots and given UK labels. This is perfectly legal but we believe our customers have the right to know where their supplements are made.

Good Manufacturing Practice or GMP refers to both production and quality control. It has been used in both the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries as a set of strict regulations,codes, and guidelines ensuring that food supplements are constantly manufactured and controlled to a high standard which is suitable for use.

GMP is globally highly regarded as it ensures manufacturing excellence and demonstrates a manufacturer’s ability to produce supplements that meet both the industry’s high standards of quality and safety as well as label claims for consistently reliable clinical outcomes.

BRC Food Certified

The British Retail Consortium Food Safety Standard (BRC Food Certified) is a leading safety and quality certification program, used by over 23,000 certificated suppliers in 123 countries, with certification issued through a worldwide network of accredited certification bodies.

The BRC Food Safety Standard builds on ISO to help establish good manufacturing practices to guarantee the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure protection for the end consumer.
